Introduction:
Summit Kenya’s highest mountain via the Sirimon route. This full-service camping trek is designed for hikers seeking to conquer Point Lenana at 4,985m.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Nanyuki. Overnight in a base guesthouse for acclimatization.
Day 2: Trek to Old Moses Camp (3,300m) – 9km, 3-4 hours.
Day 3: Hike to Shipton’s Camp (4,200m). Spot mountain wildlife and glaciers.
Day 4: Summit attempt at dawn to Point Lenana. Return to Shipton and descend to Old Moses.
Day 5: Hike out to park gate and drive back to Nairobi.
