Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly or drive to Kitale, transfer to Mt. Elgon gate. Camp setup and short forest hike.
Day 2: Hike to the Kitum and Chepnyali caves, known for salt-licking elephants. Picnic lunch and return to base camp.
Day 3: Optional trek toward Koitobos Peak (approx. 4,000m) or a guided forest trail.
Day 4: Break camp and travel back to Nairobi.
