Refund Policy for Gorp Core Ventures

We want your camping experience with Gorp Core Ventures to be unforgettable! However, we understand that plans can change. Below is our Refund Policy for camping bookings and gear rentals.

1. 1. Cancellations by You
   • More than 14 days before the camping date: Full refund, minus a 5% processing fee.
   • 7 to 14 days before the camping date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
   • Less than 7 days before the camping date: No refund, but we may offer a rescheduling option at our discretion.
   • No-shows: No refund or rescheduling.
   • All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to gorpcoreventures@gmail.com.
2. 2. Cancellations by Gorp Core Ventures
   • If we cancel your camping booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather or safety concerns), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
   • We are not responsible for additional costs (e.g., travel or accommodation) incurred due to cancellations.
3. 3. Gear Rental Refunds
   • Gear rental fees are refundable only if canceled at least 7 days before your camping date. A 5% processing fee will apply.
   • No refunds for gear rentals canceled less than 7 days before the camping date.
   • If rented gear is returned damaged, you will be charged for repairs or replacement, and no refund will be issued for the rental fee.
4. 4. Camping Modifications
   • If you request changes to your camping booking (e.g., dates, group size), we’ll do our best to accommodate, subject to availability. No additional fees apply for changes made more than 14 days before the camping date.
   • Changes within 14 days may incur a fee of KES 2,000, and refunds will not be issued for reduced services (e.g., fewer participants).
5. 5. Refunds for Unsatisfactory Service
   • If you’re dissatisfied with our camping services or gear, please notify us within 48 hours of your camping experience. We’ll investigate and, at our discretion, may offer a partial refund or a discount on a future booking.
   • Refunds will not be issued for issues caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., weather).
6. 6. Processing Refunds
   • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days and returned via the original payment method.
   • Bank or payment processing fees may apply and will be deducted from the refund amount.
